Christopher Pike is a Trinidadian/Canadian photographer based in Dubai.


His career started in Canada, where he studied photojournalism before landing a staff position at a daily newspaper documenting regional news in the Canadian Prairies


At 19 years, he was one of the youngest photographers ever to be accredited as a photographer at the Olympic Games.


Christopher relocated to Ottawa, the Canadian capital, where he freelanced for the largest editorial clients in Canada in 2007. He covered national news on Parliament Hill for a variety of publications including: Toronto StarGlobe & MailMaclean's magazine and international agencies such as Reuters and Xinhua


Four years later he became a staff photographer at Abu Dhabi-based The National, one of the largest English-language daily newspapers in the Middle East.


Christopher’s work has received awards from the National Press Photographer Association (NPPA), National News Photographer Association of Canada (NPAC) and Magenta Foundation’s Flash Forward. He received the Epson Performance Award at the Eddie Adams Workshop in 2007 and was invited to the Missouri Photo Workshop in 2009.


As a freelancer, he has worked throughout the Gulf, Middle East and west Asia covering assignments for Reuters, Bloomberg, Wall Street Journal, Conde´ Nast Traveller, TripAdvisor, Swarovski, Red Bull, New York University, Abu Dhabi's Crown Prince's Court among others.


Christopher most recently completed hostile environment training in Istanbul, Turkey in 2018.
